Gingersnap was one of our first five alpacas purchased and she has been a wonderful female to work with. She is very long bodied, with a large pelvic bone structure and delivers easily. She has had two cria for us so far and has nursed them well and is very attentive. She carries the lineage of Torbio, Estrello and DPA Prince and also has color in her background, having Ricardo as a grandsire.
Gingersnap loves the cold! She is the first climb into the baby pool, runs up to the hose or sprinkler in the summertime and she also loves to stand with her face in front of the fans. In winter, she is the first one to go out and roll and cush in the snow. Her cria have learned to watch mom from the comfort of the hay-filled stall on days when mom is "snow bathing" all day!
Gingersnap has been to our herdsire, Baron LaFite's Philippe I, for an 11/16 Accoyo 2011 cria.
