National Alpaca Farm Day allows those who interested in learning about alpacas to get up close and personal with them, to learn about their history, their care, breeding and fiber. This year, we had a project which allowed anyone to learn needle felting with alpaca fiber and we had alpaca products to purchase as well. Visitors met our animals, old and young, including our five day old cria and were able to take a farm tour and see what we do with this extraordinary fiber. Keep us on your calendar for 2010 and join us, rain or shine!
