The Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America is an agricultural cooperative that was formed and is still owned by alpaca producers. Its purpose is to collect alpaca fiber, have it processed into product and to distribute the profit from the sale of products to its members.

Once they, literally, hit the ground, they learn to stand up on long, weak, wiggly legs and find their source of milk all by themselves. In their first day, they run, roll, and even play with other crias. Amazing!
