We bought our farm in 1999 and set about rehabilitating it for us and our horses. When we decided to raise alpacas, the design of some of our rehab plans changed. We also changed the way we managed the soil and how we harvested our hay. It has been an adventure!

We are the Noble family: Ross, Jeanne, Natalie, Emma and Lillian & we are all involved in the upkeep and animal care of our 50 acre farm. We really enjoy raising Suri alpacas. We know our animals by name and are dedicated to their care and well-being. Our daily interactions with these gentle animals promotes trust; not only do we know them, but they know us.
Our purpose with our website is to introduce you to all aspects of the business & life of alpaca ownership. Like any undertaking, alpaca ownership requires a foundation of general knowledge, good mentoring from others more experienced in the business & an ever growing repertoire of first hand experiences. At Nobility Alpacas, Ltd., we willingly work to provide all of the teaching, mentoring & benefit of our experience to empower the novice alpaca owner to achieve an enjoyable life for themselves & their alpacas.

Watching a new cria arrive and learn how to interact with the world is a fascinating experience. Once they, literally, hit the ground, they learn to stand up on long, weak, wiggly legs and find their source of milk all by themselves. In their first day, they run, roll, and even play with other crias. Amazing!
